With the development of society and the advancement of technology, decentralized data acquisition and communication control modules are also constantly evolving. Beijing Jizhida Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has developed RemoDAQ-83XX (Distributed Data Acquisition&Control Module Based on Industrial Ethernet) on the basis of the original RemoDAQ-80XX (Distributed Data Acquisition&Control Module Based on RS-485 Bus). The RemoDAQ-8300 series module is an Ethernet based data acquisition module. They provide analog input, analog output, digital input/output, timer/counter, and other functions. Using Modbus TCP as the communication protocol to facilitate connection with configuration software. Supports 10/100M Ethernet. It can be configured and tested using the RemoDAQ-8300 Series Ethernet IO Module Utility software.
R-80XX is widely used in industries such as transportation, power, railways, ships, petroleum, and coal. Wherever R-80XX can be applied, R-83XX can also be used. Due to the limited communication speed of the serial port to 115200, R-83XX supports 10/100M Ethernet compared to the serial port, which improves transmission speed and stability.
The entire plan includes an upper computer, a lower computer, and acquisition and control equipment, and requires the ability to achieve redundancy. The upper computer uses PPC-150, and configuration software is installed to connect with the lower computer's R-8187 (to achieve redundancy). The acquisition and control equipment uses R-80XX series modules.
The Implementation Scheme of R-80XX and R-8187
R-8017C is responsible for collecting signals from sensors, R-8036 collects the temperature of cylinders, R-8050 is used to monitor the status of various equipment on board, and R-8068 implements control. Once there is an alarm, the honey generator will be activated. R-8187 collects and controls R-8000 series modules through RS485, processes them and places them in fixed registers. The upper computer takes values from R-8187 through Modbus TCP protocol, and the entire redundancy is implemented by R-8187. The upper computer can print and transmit the implementation status to VDR.
Through the analysis of the entire system, the following design scheme can be extended for the R-83XX series products we are currently launching.
Implementation Plan for R-83XX
Due to the fact that the R-83XX series module itself is transmitted via Ethernet and can support multiple computers accessing it simultaneously, implementing redundancy in this architecture is very convenient. With this solution, the R-8187 programmable controller can be eliminated, and the upper computer can be directly programmed to achieve module acquisition and control. This eliminates the need to program R-8187 to control the acquisition device.
